Vanina Géré is an art historian and critic, an Anglicist and a specialist in the place of women in contemporary art.
She studied at ENS Lyon, then obtained her doctorate at Sorbonne Nouvelle. From her time at NYU’s Institute of Fine Arts, this granddaughter of a Chinese immigrant has retained a keen interest in feminist studies and the representation of visible minorities.
Today, she teaches art history and theory at Villa Arson.
